Biofertilizer

Heygaz produces biogas from manure and organic waste from fish and food. When we have processed the raw materials and refined the different gases for various purposes, we are left with a mass that in professional terms is called “bioresidue” or “biofertilizer.” Biofertilizer is a high-quality fertilizer from organic waste and an environmentally friendly alternative to chemical fertilizers. Biofertilizer can be approved in organic farming, and has properties that are similar to other manure. It adds important nutrients to the soil, thereby reducing the need for chemical fertilizers. In addition, carbon is stored in the soil.

Biofertilizer replaces fossil fertilizer products and returns the organic material to the soil in a circular cycle. Biofertilizer adds carbon to the soil and also builds up the nutrients in the soil, rather than depleting it, which is a common side effect of chemical fertilizers over a longer period of time.

Bioresidue from biogas plants is a new fertilizer product with many good environmental properties that ensure the recycling of plant nutrients for new food production. The nutrient content of bioresidue varies with the raw material entering the plant.
