Biogas - all natural

Biogas is about both good climate solutions and taking care of the environment.

The raw materials for biogas production are, for example, energy crops, manure, wet organic waste from households and businesses or residual products from industry and production processes.

Heygaz is initially focusing on cattle and pig manure, slaughterhouse and fish waste, for the production of biogas at the plant in Stord municipality and a new plant in Vindafjord municipality (Biovind).

Biovind receives an Innovation Fund award

Biovind has been selected among 61 projects out of a total of 359 applications presented under the EU Innovation Fund in 2024. The project was presented under the category of medium-sized projects to promote zero-emission technology and industrial decarbonization.
