Sustainable solutions from natural cycles

For generations, people along the coast have used their creativity and creative power to develop industries that contribute to vibrant local communities. Living from nature's resources in harmony with ecosystems while creating something we are proud of and contributing to solving local and global needs is typical of the culture along the coast of Norway. Biogas production is a natural extension of this activity.

The driving force behind Heygaz is the idea that sustainable solutions to challenges related to the production and use of energy and many other products that humans need can originate in natural cycles, a lesson that we can learn by studying the ecosystems among us. The emergence of the circular economy and the bioeconomy provides a basis for us to have this focus. It enables us to solve emissions challenges in several industries and, with the help of technology and industrial production, transform these into valuable sustainable products that the world needs.

Continuous optimization of the value streams of raw materials we use in our production is a prerequisite for the products we create to be able to push the boundaries of climate neutrality and zero emissions. Because the products we create will typically be able to find their way back to where we found the raw material it started with, or for other purposes where they will be able to provide sustainable benefit, and in this way make the circle and cycle perfect.

To realize this, we will work and strive to achieve the vision of becoming - a leading supplier of alternative energy. Our mission describes the core of what we do, for us this means working purposefully with - leading the development of the supply of environmentally friendly and alternative forms of energy in collaboration with business and public customers.
